Project Description 

Located in an outdoor campground with beautiful natural scenery, the client wanted to introduce a new form of accommodation space to create a comfortable and visually appealing experience for campers. Unlike conventional tent and cabin structures, the core objective of the project was to create a space that is recognizable in the marketplace and can attract visitors to take photos and share them.

Client Requirements

The campsite accommodation space was to be unique enough to be easily accessible and easy to share.

The structure of the building is able to cope with outdoor weather conditions such as wind and rain over a long period of time.

The interior is well insulated and can be operated all year round.

The structure needed to be easy to install, easy to maintain, and have the ability to be sustainably expanded.

The Gaxtent Solution

Based on the client’s requirements and site conditions, Gaxtent provided a 6 meter diameter PVC geodesic dome as the core accommodation unit:

Unique design: The geodesic dome structure has a futuristic visual effect and blends harmoniously with the natural environment, successfully creating a differentiated camp image.

High-performance materials: the structure is made of 6061/T6 aluminum alloy frame and 850g/m2 double-layer PVC coated fabric, which has strong weather resistance (can withstand strong winds of 100km/h), and is adaptable to various outdoor environments.

Suitable configuration for all seasons: the tent supports the installation of air conditioning, thermal insulation cotton, and lighting systems, ensuring visitors a comfortable living experience with warmth in winter and heat insulation in summer.

Rapid construction and replicability: the modular structure is easy to transport and fast to build, suitable for multi-unit camp planning and expansion.
